PowerInput is a free Chrome extension that lets you create custom AI prompt presets and trigger them with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Alt+3 to 7) directly in any text field on any website. It also includes instant text translation (30+ languages) and 20+ Unicode text styles.
What does "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) mean?
BYOK means you connect PowerInput to your own AI provider API key (e.g., DeepSeek, OpenAI). Your text goes directly from your browser to your AI provider. PowerInput never sees, stores, or processes your data. Your API key is stored locally in your browser, never on any server.
What AI providers does PowerInput support?
PowerInput supports DeepSeek (deepseek-chat, deepseek-reasoner) with more providers planned. Because you use your own API key, you only pay your provider's standard API rates โ€” there is no additional PowerInput subscription required.
Does PowerInput work in Gmail, Notion, Twitter, and other apps?
Yes โ€” PowerInput works in any text field in your browser, including Gmail compose, Notion, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack web app, Google Docs, and more. The keyboard shortcut activates based on where your cursor is positioned.
Is PowerInput free?
